Shipping drive for data recovery

To avoid damage in transit, all shipped media should be packaged securely. The following guidelines will help you minimize potential damage.

  • Wrap the drive securely in bubble wrap.

  • Make sure you have a sturdy shipping box for your device. Ensure that the device cannot move around within the box.

  • Before sealing the box please download, fill out and print data recovery order form from here.
    Please Note: If the order form doesn't open on your computer it means you need to download and install Adobe Reader for free from here.

  • Mark the outside of the package "FRAGILE - HANDLE WITH CARE".

  • Ship your package to the following address:

For our international customers(including US). We are working on opening our data recovery locations in US and Europe but at the moment we ask you to ship your media to our full service facility in Canada. Most of our customers are from US and we have never had any serious problems with customs. When filling out customs paperwork please clearly state in the description box "Damaged hard drive for repair only" and put not more than $50 value as the customs require to declare only actual cost of the item shipped, not the information stored on it. This should help eliminate any delays and charges on the border.
We also recommend not to use UPS as your courier to avoid unnecessary brokerage fees charged by UPS on all Standard shipments declared for $20 or more.


Once you have a tracking number for your shipment please email it to us so we can make sure your package gets to our lab as soon as possible.
